Hannah was a serial dieter who was low on energy, didn’t sleep well, and didn’t have a great relationship with the “scale”.
She hopped around from gym to gym, finally settling on a heart rate based gym. After some time there she developed some back trouble and decided to look for a more customized training experience.

Hannah has since lost 6 lbs of fat, gained muscle, has thrown away her scale, and is healthier and happier as a result. She’s even sleeping better and has more energy.
Hannah found a solution that stuck and is living a better life because of it.
Q&A With Hannah Johnson
Q: Name, what you do, and where do you live?
My name is Hannah Johnson and I’m the Regional Sales Manager for Kentucky Kingdom & Hurricane Bay. I moved to Nashville a few years back, for work, and have loved it ever since. Representing West Nash. I also am in the midst of nutrition school, which I started about 9 or 10 months ago & graduate this October.
Q: Take us back to what your life was like before joining MUVfit?
I was trying to lose weight in pretty unhealthy ways. I’ve tried every diet you can think of…. I’ve done the juice cleanses, fasting, nutrisystem, south beach, gluten free, and none of them worked long term and I was always exhausted and starving. In terms of working out, I hopped around a lot. I tried a lot of different workout programs in Nashville, through Class Pass, but didn’t really click with any of them. I was looking for a safe atmosphere with people that I would recognize every time I went it. I didn’t want to be just a number, I wanted a workout family.
Q: Why did you end up deciding to join the MUVFit program?
After I decided that I wanted something different, I literally googled “best personal trainers in Nashville.” MuvFit was the first Google suggested studio and I reached out and immediately heard from Daniel. After speaking with him on the phone, I had a strong feeling I would love the atmosphere and training style that they offered. I loved that each person had a personalized program, based on their goals.
Q: What was your first impression from the MUVFit program? First week, month, etc.
The first few weeks were a little intimidating for me. I had never had a trainer before and didn’t know exactly what to expect. All the trainers and others trainees are very welcoming and it’s a non-judgmental zone, which makes it much less intimidating.
MuvFit is a family. Everyone brings something different and I have met some incredible people.
Q: What have been some of the tools you have learned that have benefited you?
Form is everything. If you aren’t doing a movement correctly, it’s not helping you any and you may injure yourself. Another thing it made me appreciate is nutrition. Like I said before, I used to be a serial dieter, trying all the new “get skinny quick” BS schemes, with no lasting success. I learned the importance of not only movement at MuvFit but also the role that food has on your body. It was through learning this, that I starting cooking most of my meals at home & started nutrition school, to dive deeper into what the body needs.
Q: How is MUVFit different from other programs you have tried before? What makes MUVFit different or unique?
Accountability. The trainers care about you and will do anything to help you achieve your goals. If you miss a session… they call you out! They take their job seriously and really hold you to high standards because you aren’t just a number in a large workout class.
Q: Walk us through your journey. What results and benefits have you experienced at MUVFit?
Sleeping- used to take melatonin or Advil PM on the occasion, but now i fall asleep easily between 9:30-10 and usually don’t wake up until my alarm goes off the next morning. I work my body hard during my workouts and then am rewarded with a good 8 hours a sleep a night! I’ve also lost 6 pounds of body fat but what I’m happiest about is the change I see when I look in the mirror. I look and feel so much stronger than when I joined the gym two years ago.
Q: What would you say to anyone looking at joining MUVFit?
Try it out. If you want a personalized program for your specific body and goals, in a safe and judge-free zone, this is your place. I’ve met so many like-minded individuals that share the same passions; training with these people is just wonderful. You learn from everyone. Everyone holds everyone accountable (if that’s what you want).
